The UTP is TxDOT’s 10-year plan to guide transportation development for future construction projects and related activities. The UTP is important in guiding TxDOT’s transportation project development within the long-term planning context, but is not a budget or a guarantee that projects will or can be built. The UTP also serves as a communication tool for stakeholders and the public in understanding the project development commitments TxDOT is making. On Tuesday, July 7, 2020, TxDOT held a virtual public meeting to discuss the development of the draft 2021 UTP. The virtual public hearing was conducted on July 28, 2020. The recordings and presentation content for both meetings are linked below.
The public comment period for the draft 2021 UTP began on Friday, July 10, 2020 and will run through 4:00 PM CST on Monday, August 10. The public comment methods are provided below the meeting and hearing information.
